About Founder
From Humble Seeds to Flourishing Grounds: The Story of Shri Madugula Shashi bhushana Somayaji garu and – His Pathasala
Somayaji Garu’s journey started simply, teaching just two students at his home. His deep love for the Vedas inspired him to use his own land and income to create a special school – a pathasala.
Somayaji Garu wasn’t just a teacher,he was also a respected astrologer, a talented musician, and someone who performs a daily fire ritual (agnihotri). His dedication went beyond the classroom. He even performed two very rare ceremonies: the Tretagnola Aadhanam in 2016 and the Agnishtoma Soma Yagam in 2017. These achievements earned him the title “Somayaji.”
Today, Somayaji Garu’s pathasala has grown into a beautiful school on a large piece of land ( 7acres). Around 100 students now learn there with the help of dedicated teachers (Adhyapakas). Somayaji Garu’s passion and hard work ensure that the knowledge of the Vedas will continue to be passed on for many years to come.
